Bring sugar and water to a boil over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves and mixture is clear. Remove from heat and cool to room temerature. Add this to strained raspberry liquid and stir well. Pour into sterilized glass containers and age in dark, cool spot for at least six months.

So what kind of glass containers do you store them in? I was thinking about making some and giving it as gifts but my problem is I dont know what containers to put it in
La Luna, You store the mixture in a cool dark place in the sterilized mason jar per hte recipe. Once finished (in about 7 months total) you can transfer to any container you would like. Pier one has really cute bottles with toppers to use as gifts. Just tasted my batch that is complete and it turned out REALLY good and to top it off it is beautiful too! Tried adding some to the sangria and it too was good!
